General Questions

Below are questions about our website.

How do I set up an account?

If you are new to CultureFly, you will need to only enter your email address on the checkout page. You will receive an email asking you to activate your account. If you are purchasing a subscription box, this will help you manage your subscription. If you do not activate your account, you will be unable to edit your subscription.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please email our customer service at contact@culturefly.com.

How do I update my shipping and billing address?

Log in to your account > Click View Address or go to https://culturefly.com/account/addresses > You should see the current addresses on your account. You can add a new address or update your default one.

*If you have a subscription, you will need to update your information here.

How do I manage my subscription boxes?

There is a section on your account page that says Manage My Subscription. Click there and follow the prompts.

If you have a subscription from before November 2024, you're considered a "Legacy" account. Click there and follow the prompts.

Legacy accounts are on an old checkout system that we will be moving away from in the near future. Don't worry! Your information will move too.

Can I send your products to someone as a gift?

Yes! At checkout, there is a box that you can check off if you are choosing to send someone a gift. Follow the prompts by putting your preferred messaging delivery, the recipients email and phone number, and you can write a short message to them.

Can I purchase the items that come in your boxes individually?

Each item is made for the box it comes in and we do not sell them outside of the box. If you want that item, you will need to buy the entire collection.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs for orders shipped in the USA will based on weight of the item. You will see this when you when you place your order.

To find out how much your order will cost, simply add the item you would like to purchase to your cart, and proceed to the checkout page. Once at the checkout screen, shipping charges will be displayed. Additional shipping charges may apply to remote areas or for split shipments. You will be advised of any charges on the checkout page. 

International customers are required to pay any relevant duties, customs, or taxes associated with their country. You will see international shipping prices at checkout.

Why is the international shipping fee more than domestic?

Each international box is shipped with International Economy Shipping and is fully insured and trackable.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

For in-stock (non-pre-order) products, if you are located in the USA, you will receive a shipping notification when your order is dispatched via DHL, Fedex, USPS, Amazon Shipping, along with a tracking number. At that point, your order will arrive within 3 to 7 business days. 

For in-stock (non-pre-order) products, if you are an international customer (outside the USA), you will receive a shipping notification when your order is dispatched via the post office along with a tracking number. At that point, your order will arrive within 5 to 10 business days. Please be aware that international packages may be delayed by customs in your country and that you are responsible for any associated import fees.

Why does tracking seem to be taking longer than it should?

Our products actually ship from California even though our return address is listed as New York City – where our home office is. We do that in the event your order is marked ‘return to sender,’ it comes back to our office and we can get it to its rightful home! Our products ship out of our main warehouse in California.

I received my tracking link, but it hasn't moved in a while. What should I do?

We ask that you do keep an eye on your tracking, as it may update as soon as possible.

However, if your tracking link says "Pending" or your delivery date has not updated in over 10 business days, please reach out to our customer service at contact@culturefly.com so they can take a closer look.

Billing

Below are questions about our payment process.

What currency do you charge in?

Your country's currency can be displayed while you shop. Simply go up to top left corner of our site and select your country's currency.

What payment methods are available?

We accept PayPal, Shop Pay, Google Pay and credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

What does pre-order mean? When will I be charged?

Some products may be listed as pre-order, which means that you will pay for the product when you check out, but your order will be shipped at a later date. This way, you are all set to receive that product before it ships out. You will receive tracking when your order is shipped.

Returns and Refunds

Below are questions about our return and refund policies.

I received a broken or damaged item. What should I do?

Any damages, refunds, or replacement requests must be requested within 30 days of receiving your shipment. Due to inventory changes, we do not guarantee that all requests will be accommodated as requested. Once processed, you will be asked to verify your shipping address and you will receive new tracking information.

We do not offer refunds or replacements for items that have been used, washed or tampered with.

For boxes, we do not offer returns, refunds, or credits for the dissatisfaction of box contents.

When you reach out to our customer service, please attach photos or videos of your damaged product in the email, along with the full name and email associated with the account. We will be able to replace the item(s) unless the item is not in stock, then we will offer a refund for the damaged item. Please do take note that waiting for a replacement can take up to 8 weeks depending on when inventory will be available. Send an email with a picture of the damaged item to: contact@culturefly.com

If you purchased one of our boxes or bundles and a full return of the box is approved, the box will need to be returned to us unopened and in the original shrink-wrap.

I received the wrong size for the clothing in my order. What should I do?

Depending on inventory available, our customer service team will be able to help. Please send an email to contact@culturefly.com.

How long do returns take to process?

Returns take 3-5 business days to be processed.

How long does it take for a refund to process?

If you are receiving a refund through your bank, it should take 7-10 business days for it to process.

We may have to refund you through a PayPal account, store credit via a gift card/discount, or through reward points. *The reason why we offer these as ways to refund you is due to the timeframe since you last made your order.

If you are receiving a refund through PayPal, it should take 5-7 business days for it to process.

Please note: CultureFly is not responsible for the payment of the return shipping. However, if you are exchanging an item for another one, the new item will be shipped back to you for free. If the item doesn’t fit and you would prefer a refund we will credit you back on the card you used for the purchase. However shipping costs will not be refunded.

I purchased one of your items at a retailer and there was a damaged item inside/item missing from the box. Can you replace it for me?

Unfortunately, you would need to go through the original retailer you purchased your item from.

I ordered one of your collector's boxes, and it arrived dented. Can you replace it?

We put a lot of thought into designing our boxes to make sure they are visually appealing. Please keep in mind the box is primarily for shipping and is designed to protect what’s inside. We do not offer replacements for any damaged box.

General Subscription Box Questions

Below are questions about our subscription boxes. If you have a question about a specific box, please scroll.

What subscription plans options do you offer?

We offer up to three options for our subscription boxes.

Quarterly plans allow you to pay per box. You will sign up for the current season's box, and then your plan will auto-renew when the next box is available on a specific date. You will continue to receive a box until you make your subscription inactive.

Annual plans allow you to sign up for 4 boxes of your year at sign-up. You will be all set for each season's box for that year. This plan auto-renews after your fourth box, on a specific date, unless you make your account inactive.

*Our Star Wars Galaxy Box offers a bi-annual as there are only two boxes in your year.

Some of our subscriptions offer a trial box. This signs you up for the one box that is currently available for that season. You will not be renewed for future boxes.

When do boxes start to ship?

Boxes ship out every 3-4 months. You can see the month each season's box is scheduled to ship on the box's sign-up page.

If you order right when we open for the season's new box, it will take about 1-2 months before you receive your pre-ordered box.

If you are ordering after boxes start to ship out, it takes about 7-10 business days, depending on your location.

You will receive an email with tracking information when your box starts shipping.

How much does shipping cost for the boxes?

Our boxes will ship anywhere in the Contiguous United States for a flat rate of $10.00.

Shipping to Non-contiguous US territories will ship at a flat fee of $15.00.

International customers* are required to pay any relevant duties, customs, or taxes associated with their country. International shipping rates are as follows:

What is the difference between "unfulfilled" and "fulfilled"?

If your subscription says "Unfulfilled" on your account, this means that your order is all set, but it has not started shipping yet. When it changes to "Fulfilled," you should receive your tracking information via email.

How do I update my Shipping and Billing Address?

To update your shipping and billing address, log in with the My Account icon > click on Manage Subscriptions > Click on Shipping Addresses > Click the address you want to update > Click Edit Shipping Address > Input your new information, then click SAVE

If you have an active subscription before November 2024:
  Log in with the My Account icon > click on Manage Subscriptions > Select Edit on your current subscription and you will be able to update your billing and shipping addresses.

How do I update my Payment information?

Go to your account > Click the Manage My Subscription > Click Address & Payment Details >  Click Manage Payment Methods > Update your info.

If you have an active subscription before November 2024:
Go to your account > Under your history, click the manage your subscription > under Billing, click on Edit.

How do I update my clothing size?

To change your clothing size, log in with the My Account icon > then Manage Subscriptions > Click Edit on the plan you want toupdate > Click Product > Click the Size Variant you would like to change it to, then click then click UPDATE

If you have an active subscription before November 2024:
To change your clothing size, log in, log in with the My Account icon > then Manage All Other Subscriptions > select Edit on your current subscription > click Change Product Size.

IMPORTANT: This does not update your current box. If you would like your current box order to be updated with a new size, please email contact@culturefly.com

My box is being sent to the wrong address. What should I do?

In the case that your box is going to an old address, we ask that you have mail forwarding set up. Our customer service team will assist.

If your box is going to a different address due to an error, reach out to our customer service team.

We ask you to please make sure you change your address before we renew your plan, as once your shipping label is created, we cannot update your account information for your current box. 

Our customer service team will either set you up with a replacement (depending on quantities) or a refund. Email them at contact@culturefly.com for help. 

How do I cancel my subscription?

We’re so sorry to see you go! Log in with the My Account icon > then Manage Subscriptions > Click Edit on the plan you want to cancel > Then, scroll to the bottom of the page, and hit Cancel Subscription.

If you have an active subscription before November 2024: 

If you have to cancel your subscription, log in with the My Account icon > click on Manage All Other Subscriptions > under Status, click Edit next to the Active option > Switch to Inactive.


IMPORTANT: This does not mean your current order is canceled. Your account is now inactive, so you will not be renewed for future boxes in your subscription. If you would like for your current box order to be officially canceled, please email contact@culturefly.com

Quarterly Plans or Bi-Annual plans can be canceled between boxes, as long as the shipping label for your next box hasn’t been created.

Annual Plans can be canceled after your last box has shipped.

Friends Box

When will I be billed?

At signup, you will be charged $39.99 plus shipping for the Quarterly plan and $143.96 plus shipping for the Annual plan. Both plans are set to auto-renew once your initial plan has ended.

How do I join the club?

It's super easy! All you have to do is make an account on our site! You'll even earn points just for doing that. Pretty sweet.

How do I earn points?

There are lots of ways! You can start making purchases and following us on social media. Super easy. See all the different activities to earn points here on our rewards popup.

Where can I view my point balance?

Head over to our rewards popup to see how many points you have unlocked!

How do I redeem my points?

To redeem any of the points you've earned, go to the rewards popup and click Redeem Points, and then you should be able to see different discounts you can redeem*.

I just bought a product and I don't see points from it. What do I do?

Give it a few minutes as it may be loading on to your account. Then, refresh the rewards page. If you still don't see those points reflected in your balance, email our customer service at contact@culturefly.com. They will be able to help!
